We have bought 5 homes, 1 in Maryland, 3 in Florida and our current home in River Bend, N.C. 1 year ago, from Tina Mills of Trent River Realty. Of all the realtors we have dealt with, Tina was by far the most personal, accommodating, sincere, and professional of any other realtor. We arrived in the New Bern without knowing much about the area, so were vulnerable to other realtors who were trying to sell us for their commission, not what was best for us. Tina was up front with us on where we should look or not taking in to consideration the flooding from Hurricane Florence. The others conveniently kept that a secret. Her knowledge of the area, banks, closing attorneys, and just plain old fashion experience is just a few of the reasons that I have closed over ten properties with her. Kelly was recommended to us by several people after no success in selling our house with another agent. Kelly is amazing. We received multiple offers at or above list price within the first week. She reviewed every document from listing to sale (cash and above list price) with us in detail. She responded to all our questions promptly (usually within a few minutes) . The contractors she recommended for minor repairs also responded promptly and in several cases she arranged the date, price, and job to be completed. We were out of town quite often during the process. Kelly checked on the house and made sure the house was in show ready shape during our absences. The whole process, start to finish, was so easy. The house was sold above list price and for more than we ever expected. She also communicated in person as opposed to waiting for computer sites to give feedback on showings and as opposed to dealing with a team of agents. It was obvious that she had an excellent rapport with potential buyer agents.

Because of our experience with Kelly for the sale of our house, we also asked her to handle the sale of our father's house. With only a few days notice, she listed the property. Again, we had multiple above list price and sold the house (as is) within a couple of weeks for cash above list price. For this sale we had moved out of state. She handled EVERYTHING including arranging for donations for house contents and for clearing and cleaning the house. She is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and the ultimate professional. She is also one of the most upbeat positive people I know.
